When cookie, brownies, or cake is being make, it looks like a nasty mess when the ingredients are first put in the bowl. It's not until the ingredients are mixed the the food starts too look good then after it's properly baked then it becomes edible.(Of course you can eat it after mixing it but not recommended),
Anyway liberals put in the ingredients and mix for about three seconds and believe that's all it takes to make a cake or whatever.
