I've been on and off this stream for probably year.

I think so but I'm not 100 percent sure.

In thinking about it, it is likely that we've never met. I am relatively new here having arrived last spring, and my interactions were often with the moderators and visitors from the LGBTQ+ stream.

I'm not going to attack you or anything but just out of curiosity do you support the LGBTQ+ community?

I aid them against the trolls but that is it. I am a fundamentalist Christian who believes that the lifestyle of the LGBTQ+ is sinful and so all in that community must repent.

But I don't hate them. Not at all.

Those who told you to deal with it, that also told you that your comments were mean for ridiculous reasons. Were they just your brother or were your parents in on it as well?

Just have to get control of my emotions and try to survive a few more years til I can move out

Not going to lie but not great both ways. This is going to sound so bad but it's hard just to find motivation to just do 5 minutes. I don't want my parents knowing because even though we go to the same church we have some very different opinions on what we think and how we act. There's several things that if they knew I'd most likely be homeless right now.

I have a feeling I know what it is. I've seen a lot of it in the LGBTQ+ stream. Is that what it is?

My brother just gives me downright insults

I am sorry that you are going through all of that.

They claim they are joking but when I ask them to stop just tell me deal with it. They say they don't mean to hurt me but continue doing it anyway. They usually call me mean for the stupidest things. One time because I wouldn't share my chips with them. Another because I just tried to share my opinion on a political subject. My family does some really messed up stuff.

Just trying to figure out whether you are any of the pronouns or not? I've tried to help those who wanted to come out... they are in a very tough position.

Cool. I still need to do my research on that topic but rn I'm still just working on the roots. I've been re training myself from my parents "Christian" beliefs and moreso what the Bible actually says.

Not really but also yes.
They are extremely conservative I am not. They tell me to think for myself but then tell me that if I ever work for the news media I am no longer considered a part of the family.
Same with tattoos.
My dad yells all the time. My brother is just a jerk. My mom just wants me to look a certain way (which I don't)
It disgusts me that my family is probably one of the most well respected people in the church. My dad was a decon. My mom teaches preschool basically twice a week or more. My brother does the media work since he's good with technology. They ship me off to Bible camp saying they are glad to finally get away from me for a whole week. How much fun they'll have without me. How they won't have to listen to all the mean comments I give. It messes with my head because people call them so great and I just can't see it

Wow, that's not good. I am also a Conservative but Conservatives shouldn't behave like that. And, they're glad you're off to Bible camp because they don't have to put up with you for the time being? Are they just joking or they really meant it? And why do they think your comments are mean?
