President: As the Party Founder and the person who memes most consistently for N.E.R.D., I think it makes most sense for me to take the first crack at running for President for our Party. Otherwise the attack ad is going to be — “Well, X candidate is running, but we all know sloth is really running the show!” Let me know if you disagree.
VP: Provisional candidate = Jemy, the second person to join the Party.
HOC: Provisional candidate = SuGaS, the third to join.
We also have RandomnessCentral_Official, UnoReverse_Official, and CrusaderOfTheWest who have expressed interest in a higher office for N.E.R.D.
—UnoReverse_Official and COTW have not really been active enough lately to show commitment to modding the PRESIDENTS stream, IMO. That’s the first thing voters look for: activity and name recognition. I’d like to see them ramp up to being active every day or every other day for next cycle if they’re interested in running for N.E.R.D. next time.
—RandomnessCentral_Official on the other hand is very active and has a long history on PRESIDENTS, definitely showing commitment.
So, we have 4 top-tier N.E.R.D. candidates for 3 top positions, basically. Here’s what I propose:
—I don’t want to go back on our provisional selections without the provisional candidate’s permission. So, I’ll allow Jemy or SuGaS to decide for themselves whether they want to compete against RandomnessCentral in a primary election.
It would definitely be great fun and get N.E.R.D.’s name out there to hold primaries — so please consider it! (Of course, the loser of the primary election would still be offered a high-ranking cabinet position if we were to win the general election.)
