Tell them why you're uncomfortable with being deadnamed. Don't be afraid to not sugar coat either. Calmly try to get them to understand where you're coming from. If they ignore you, cut them out of your life. They're not worth a grain of salt

Hey, im a christian but im also a lesbian, and i know how they feel, if their like me theyve grown up in a house where if they do or treat people they wish to be treated they could get outcasted, its not so much that they hate you their just scared. Maybe have a friendly talk and expain things to them, but make the point that your not here to attack them, you just dont feel comfortable :)

I would keep telling them you new name and not your dead one until they get tired of it, something like "actually, my name is ______. Please don't call me that."

tell them that you feel more comfortable when they call you by your other name, and feel weird with your dead one it might help but idk
