=========================== HOW TO MAKE MONEY BY WORKING AS A FREELANCE FURRY ARTIST (A How-To Guide By Simo The Finlandized - © 2021 CE) =========================== By far the most popular (and easiest) way to make money in the furry fandom is by doing art commissions, usually via PayPal. It may take a lot of artistic practice before you can get it, but once you gain adequate experience in digital art, you can open up for art commissions. If you’re just starting off as a furry artist, it’s a very good idea to have your art priced reasonably based on the quality (you can ask other furries around or artists outside of the fandom regarding this to help you decide how to adequately price your art). You could also open up a Patreon page and account so that people can donate money to you, though usually you may have to be an established artist or YouTuber and give your Patreons some sort of decent advantage when they donate to you (such as access to exclusive content that others may not get to see unless they become a Patreon supporter or acquire a special role in your Discord server). Regarding commissions, lots of people look for an artist that can make a reference sheet of their fursona, so they can go get a fursuit made. A golden rule to remember when it comes to pricing your art commissions is, that the higher-quality the art you produced is made to be, the higher you can generally charge for said art commission on-the-bat. Just whatever you do, set yourself a standard maximum limit on how many commissions you can take on at one time and stick with it - because nothing burns away artistic ambition and inspiration faster than mass-burnout. And one last note - once someone has paid you the money you wanted in order to make art for them, you're legally obliged to complete it - failure to do so is legally a punishable crime. On a lighter note, good luck and happy trails with your art commissions! ===========================
