So glad! I'm always terrified of hurting someone's feelings in this new, ultra-sensitive world we live in. It's cool to meet an alright guy... or gal —as the case may be. Nice to meet you, my friend.
'Tis good to meet you, too! I am rarely offended, and, as a result, I may inadvertently offend others more often than those who don't use their words. I miss the days of free expression, when others would seek out your true meaning, instead of assigning your words a false meaning. For example, someone just might read this comment meme and say, "What? Other people mean? I'm not mean!!" Keep an ample supply of thicker skin in the back for those folks! Now if we could just get them to buy what they need.
To answer back your green meme, yes. You are really right. The entendre of emotion isn't always translated with words. Wow... Calvin & Hobbs! Impressed with your heady tastes and skillz. You do have the "cartoon-kinda-mind" thing going!
Yeah, smileys... I mean emoticons... I mean emojis didn't help much.

I guess I do: my mind is like a funny drawing LOL

Poor Jeremiah. He was a friend of mine. Do you suppose he was the last food available on a cold three-dog night?
Referring to "Poor Jeremiah. He was a friend of mine. Do you suppose he was the last food available on a cold three-dog night?" You really are a funny guy!
LOL Never knew Jerimiah was married so many times!
JUST IN CASE you did not know: three-dog night is an arctic term for a night that is so cold, instead of sleeping with the usual 2 dogs (one on each side), you would need a third on top to survive the night. Dogs have a bit higher temperature than humans.
And—more for others reading this convo—"Jerimiah was a bullfrog, was a good friend of mine" was the opening line of a 1970 song by the band Three Dog Night called Joy To The World. It's the #1 song for 1971 in the USA and Canada.
I never knew that and am truly humbled that you would share that with me! I never knew and I've been a fan of there's since the late 60s and Locomotion. I'm very familiar with the song as we do it in my band. Many Thanks again!
