The problem I'm having with everything right now is what's going on with schools. I get that people need to work to pay the rent, etc. I get that schools are basically free day care. I get that corporations need their workers back and everyone wants to get back to normal.
However, the pandemic isn't even close to being over yet. So we're making kids go back to school causing a rise now in pediatric covid cases and hospitalizations. The Los Angeles Unified School District just announced mandatory vaxxing of all students 12+ by January when the FDA only ok'd it for 16+. We're heading into winter so it's probably about to get worse and we're exposing our kids to a dangerous pathogen because capitalism needs its workforce back. There has to be another way.
