You must have missed Abbott's news conference yesterday. He said he was going to get rid of all rapists in Texas to eliminate the need to grant abortions to women who are raped. Texas has the most rapists per capita of any state. Abbott's comment ranks right up there with the Tangerine Tyrant's prediction almost two years ago that Covid-19 was going to "Disappear. Like Magic." That must be the new Republican plan for dealing with problems, hoping they will magically vanish.

As of right now, Texas has the highest number listed on their registry at 100,000. California has 83,000. California has ten million more residents than Texas.
