"I love you" in German (ich liebe dich) sounds kind of like "ish leeba dish". The sound is between a "ch" and "sh" sound. If not heard clearly from quite a long way away—like on the pictured ski slope—one might believe they heard "itch, leave the itch" or "dish, leave a dish".
