Percentages? No, those don't exist. It's only ever 1 or 0, black and white, up or down.

70% is the protection percent of a cloth mask, which you people default to 0% because you don't like masks

95% is the protection a covid vaccine gives, but you people default to 100% to say "see, none of them work, because if the vaccine worked, it would be a perfect protection"

this doesn't say what you think it does. like, seriously

the mask variable shown here is similar in both the control and the infected, but look at the variable "previous close contact with someone with Covid"

the difference in the Yes variable here shows that people that caught covid were more than 3 times likely to have been in contact with an infected than the control (with most of those close contacts being family members)

there's also the fact that the people being shown in this study are people that went to a testing facility. That assures a high percentage will have worn masks.
