Well, think about what your crush likes. Maybe buy them something that they're into, then gift it to them, along with asking them out on a date when you do so. Even better, just be honest with them about your feelings. Tell them how they make you feel, and how you, truthfully, feel about them. Be open to them, tell them that you're willing to date them and would love to do such a thing. Just remember to prepare yourself beforehand to not get too nervous (take deep breaths, maybe prepare a little speech so you have something to go by, look up some videos or articles on how to stay calm and/or how to confess to your crush that you like them (also, I know you don't want cringe lines, but if you find some actually good pick-up lines, I'm sure a good, flirty joke might help you win your crush's heart). Good luck, and if it doesn't work out, just know that there are plenty of other fish in the sea, and your current crush just wasn't right for you. Hopefully, you'll find success though!
A Few Notes:
-As much as you might want to tell your crush you like them, make sure you aren't crossing the line with asking them out too much, and make sure that you aren't actually asking them to be your partner right away. Maybe just be a little more casual and flirty and see where it takes you?
-Your current crush might not be interested in a relationship right away. Make sure you're patient enough, even if you're not the patient type.
-If you are asking out somebody who seems a little shy and/or nervous, wait for them to open up about how they feel. You could ask "So, do you like me as a friend or do you have a crush on me?"
-As a last note, if you do get to go out on a date with them, make sure you practice in front of a mirror or with a friend before going on the actual date. Practice what you'd say when you meet up with your crush, or at the very least, make sure you don't just talk about how amazing the date is. Practice what you would say, don't make it all about yourself, as you should ask about your crush too (just don't be invasive to their privacy), and just be nice and whatnot.
