The upper-left quadrant *could* be communism if you were really deep into it — but for those who fall close to the midline, you’re still a centrist regardless of which quadrant.

The interpretation of political compass results works better when you envision a “centrist” quadrant as well. I’ve drawn one here that is 3x3.

I think every single time I’ve taken one of these, I land right on -2 on L/R axis. So that part seems right. Lol.

More typically, I’m in the lower-left quadrant on the Y axis. Guess it depends on the questions. 🤷‍♂️
