I had a discussion but it doesn’t necessarily mean I’m joining.

Hard pass, it's not like you're going to run with them, they've already chosen who's going to be on the ballot.

Technically we did already select our Prez/VP/HOC candidates, based on the first 3 to join the party. It might end up that way but don’t read too much into it, I personally thought that was a little premature.

Due to growing interest, we could decide to do primary elections instead. I don’t want others to be discouraged to join our budding Party based on the idea there might not be a role for them.

An HCP/NERD merger? I wouldn’t rule that out, either. Policy-wise, we do agree on a lot. Only issue is we’d have probably too many top-tier candidates to comfortably accommodate in only 3 candidate slots.
