*its quiet as they continue, it feels too quiet though, the forest becomes thicker, at one point they see a flash of yellow dart out from behind them and then cross the path, disappearing on the other side of the path, all without making a sound*

*you get talked from behind and this thing is on top of you, they are holding you down*

???: wait… I’m must be going blind, your not some Galactic Laboratories armed employee. Why are you here?

I received a distress call from a place, sounded urgent.

???: maybe you are some guy working for them after all. But a distress call is a distress call. Try anything funny and I’ll vaporize you. Understand? *her right claw has electricity bouncing from finger to finger to demonstrate she can kill you in many ways, she stands up and helps you up as well*

GL scientist C: well the normal reaction would be to surrender. And since you decided to kill 3 of us, we’ll just take you in now, cuff ‘em.

*You get hand cuffed and your carried back to the facility for interrogation*

*A City 5 Protection Agency helicopter shows up*
Pilot: Release him now or we will fire at you!

GL scientist C: he chose to fire at us. So we’re taking him in for interrogation. Not a chance.

GL soldier A: Technically we were acting in self defense so you have no justification in the matter.

GL soldier B: I have a rocket ready.

*The helicopter turns to the side to reveal three Marksmen units who immediately fire at the soldiers, clean headshots, Then 185 comes down in a zipline*
185: Come on Cam, get up, I ain't leaving you behind!

Joann: what?

Electra: uh.. should it be doing this?

Joann: *looks at the device* no… not to break the fourth wall here, but it’s happened in most of the other role plays on this image so I wouldn’t be too worried about it..

That, Inking, its wearing that Yellow construction vest, but its not moving. What is it doing?

Joann: not sure how it got in.

That f**king Inking follows me everywhere I go. I just can't lose it.

Joann: that’s your problem, anyways you found me, you can go tell Galactic Labs I plan to remain neutral.

Joann: as for Electra: I have no idea what she’s going to do yet.

Electra: so what are you going to do you now?

I'm gonna find out what silenced that distress call.

Electra: relax.

Joann: the name’s Joann, I assume your here for me?

They wanted to see you. I'm trying to figure out where a distress call was coming from, they stopped coming around an hour later before I arrived here.

Joann: they? You mean Galactic Labs? Just go back to them and remind them I’m neutral in this ongoing conflict.

Well, an Octoling mutant with some sort of hair color mixture was eating a recently killed scientist, so that makes me think that they got killed by those mutants.

*Joann begins to giggle and turns into an almost insane laughter*

Joann: do you know the kind of weaponry they have? Ever since the reform and the world calling us criminals, we’ve been investing into mostly weapons. We shouldn’t be doing that though. We should be trying to save the world, not make it worse.

Electra: anyway I have this. *Electra holds the device in her claw* you have a laptop?

Joann: you don’t even need one.

*I look around and I see something yellowish, I get confused but stay looking at it*

Electra: what?

Joann: here give me that. *it turns on but nothing happens, at least nothing to either Joann and Cam*

Electra: Oh my… what did that scientist just drop…

Joann: it’s encrypted, looks like only you can see what’s on it until we get a laptop or something. Uh hey… what are you even looking at any? *heading over to cam*

*Electra takes the device and holds it, she looks like she is reading something but nothing is there for anyone else*

There is something in a yellowish vest over there.

Joann: I see it too.

*The device fuses into Electra’s arm*

Electra: uh.. help, I’m not sure if it’s supposed to do that…

Wait... Is that, them?

Electra: my name’s Electra. Let’s go find the distress signal your looking for. If you find people in lab coats with a gold G on them. I’ll hide, just say you haven’t seen me if they ask. Ok?

Alright, but I'm usually ranked as a brutal executionist.

Electra: they don’t care as long as you don’t have abilities (or they don’t know about them) and you don’t attack them. They will care about me.

Also this suit is literally the main source of my damage absorption.

Electra: not sure how that will hold up against their experimental weapons. It’s scary how well they work against even the most powerful entities. Most of the time the only option is to run. If your someone like me, you can absorb and drain their energy.

I don't absorb, I kill and get the suit covered in guts and gore.

Electra: then you’ll likely need to run. Half of their weapons fail in battle though so you should be ok, I think most are still using regular guns and ammunition, some use the hybrids, which aren’t too powerful unless its those tanks, most of their energy weapons cost too much power to be viable in battle. I know this cause they needed me to test one of them.

I'm sure I'll be fine, I've been killing Octoling mutants in this suit for a long time.

Electra: it better be as good as you say it is. *Electra proceeds to walk deeper into the forest, guiding Cam on his way through* so where is this distress signal coming from?

It stopped an hour ago, possibly the work of either Octoling mutants, or.
*Stops suddenly*

Electra: what do you mean by “them?” I only know the GL Labs bases here, I’ve been in the run for a pretty long time.

An Inking in a construction vest with a black sweater underneath can and will cause problems to this suit, don't know what happens if I don't get out of their sight, and I don't want to find out.

Electra: relax, it can’t be that bad

The longer It looks at me, the more it messes with the suit, making it real hard to keep my place in battle.

Electra: more fighting, sounds like fun. *gun fire is heard* nevermind I’m running too. *they run to join Cam*

Sounds Like Anime Cartel showed up for the part.

Electra: stereotypical anime evil organization showed up, your correct. *She grabs Cam and pulls him down another path, the forest gets even thicker*

You fight them too? Small world.

Electra: I’m talking about Galactic Labs.

Anime Cartel has been working with them?

Electra: don’t know who the Anime Cartel is, but I’d be surprised if they do support them right now, everyone hates what they did.

Anime Cartel is responsible for many events such as the Inkopolis Incident, an outbreak that is the only one known for a firebombing attempt to fail.

Electra: never heard of inkopolis. *They finally stop, they are in a cave* Hey, you still there?

???: I’m here

Electra: alright, a bit of a warning Jo, looks like I have a new friend.

???: wonderful… *you hear footsteps coming towards you*

Electra: if all else fails, take a hostage, or retreat. Or just be like me and—

???: so this is what you’ve been reduced to Electra? Wandering the forest?

*they look further down the path, someone in a lab coat with a gold G on it was talking to them. They had their weapons holstered but had their hand on one, ready to draw it*

*Electra freezes*

GL scientist: relax, I just want to talk.

Electra: last time it ended with a battle and both of your guards dead.

*Pulls out a Modified Desert Eagle and fires at the scientist*

Electra: WAIT NO—

*it misses*

GL scientist: they were a bit jumpy, it wasn’t my fault. I initially came to talk to you about plans for a new weapon. But it’s classified, and I don’t trust your new friend here. Especially now after they just shot at me and missed. Hopefully no one else heard that.

Electra: ok, if that’s what you were coming to talk to me about, why me, I’m against you GL labs people. And why bring the guards?

GL scientist: we agreed it is wrong gl create destruction when we are supposed to be working for a better world. We were coming to ask you to destroy it.

Electra: sounds like a trap to me.

GL scientists: not all of us agree with what’s going on and how our old boss took their approach to the problem of creating a perfect universe. Perhaps the universe is already at its best right now. I’ll leave you with this offer.

*they drop a device that looks like a hard drive*

GL scientist: I wouldn’t bring your friend along though. They seem to attract too much attention.

*they leave*

Electra: no stay, first we have to find the distress signal, second I want you here to see this. I may need help.

*Points to an Octoling mutant that killed the same GL scientist that they were talking to*
That mutant is way more different than what I'm used to, and something completely f**ked up my map, so unless you can bear watching people being mercilessly killed, I recommend we just give up.

(The scientist would have likely deployed a shield, then had drawn their experimental weapon [the pistol she had her hand on] and started firing but ok, these guys are combat trained, commanders and scientists are trained better than others and some even have abilities)

Electra: at the very least I’m finding that weapon first. *she picks up the dropped device*

That is an odd Octoling mutant, don't know what colors that is, its a mixture. Its also blocking the path too, so, do we go through or around?

Electra: stand back. *her mouth opens and begins to flash blue, an intense bolt of electricity is shot out of her mouth, hitting the Octoling mutant, it’s killed by electrocution.*

Jesus, and here I thought we would have to fight-
*Octoling mutant roars are heard from behind, I immediately start running away*

*the rocket is fired. Two futuristic fighter jets show up and hover around them*

*City 5 Protection Agency trucks show up, then more helicopters, they immediately shoot down the fighter jets with precision shots, and 185 is dragging me back to safety*

*one scientist survived somehow*

GL scientist C: just use the orbital strike. I’ll run to get out of the blast zone. *the run away*

*With me in the truck, everyone leaves, with their weapon and vehicle blueprints, they leave the blast radius.*

*A beam appears, melting everything within the ballast zone, nothing inside the beams light is left besides the ground*
