There was a research study by Carnegie Mellon University with 10,000 surveys and those with PhD's were 23.9% against getting the COVID vaccine.

Ok you convinced me. I know an economics prof in Texas who is highly suspicious of ... pretty much everything. But it doesn't make him correct lol. PhD is just a certificate of completion, it doesn't make anyone infallible.

Yeah I get it. I don't think this research study is trying to say a certain group, like PhD's are correct or incorrect. From the tone of the research article, it seems that the researchers were not at all expecting the highest education group and the lowest, for that matter, to have the most resistance to the COVID vaccine. It's interesting that the middle groups had the least resistance to getting the COVID vaccine. I really posted this in this stream because I found it like a "weird, but true" kinda thing.

Its wild to think the 'smartest' think they are immune or whatnot. Seems as soon as they land in the ECU they get all apologetic and embarassed... once they recover from being in a coma.

It could also be that PhD's are familiar with research and maybe their skeptical about how fast Pfizer and Moderna were able to develop the COVID vaccine shot. I would guess the resistance is related to their experience in the research field.

That and being flagrant know it alls that think their own shit doesn't stink
