I think this was just that one war. In all the other wars Israel has been in, they won by themselves. Correct me if I'm mistaken.

Really? Israel fought the wars by themselves. Sure they recieved aid aka weapons and food but the US didnt' directly intervene.

thats called directly intervening- like saying the US didnt intervene in WW1 when they were sending aid to the UK constantly.
