Read the description if you can’t read the text | My brother plays AAA hockey. He’s probably the best on his team, despite not having any training for over a year. My other siblings and I are often in the shadow of our brother. It’s annoying, but it’s always been this way. Recently, my parents signed me up for certain martial arts activities. I’ve really enjoyed it, but a few weeks after joining, my parents signed my brother up as well. He’s the youngest in my class, and all he does is goof around. But of course, his hockey interferes with my martial arts activities. Since I’m a few belts higher than him, I stay in class later; my classes are a bit over an hour at night. When I did my grading routine, I messed up a move. I knew that routine by heart, practiced every day, and still messed up. Luckily, I passed. But my brother made fun of me. I can’t blame him for what happened, and it hurts knowing that he might not make that same mistake when he needs to present his routine.
Right as I’m writing this, I’m missing a class. Today it’s a special class for a specific belt, which just happens to be my belt level. I’m missing this class because my brother is at a hockey game.
I can’t really tell my parents about how I feel about my brother, since they signed him up to my class without asking. | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Hi, I'm sorry the late response.

I apologize you're going through that with your brother. He definitely seemed to be taking much of the attention & adoration.

I think the best thing you can do is that for you and your siblings come together and speak to your parents.

First brain dump, meaning that you pour in writing everything you have in mind. You and your siblings, and then refine it. Count how much time was given to him in comparison to you all.

With one person it is less persuasive but with all of you together, it sends a powerful impression.
