My shaman sense was tingling the 1st time I read this comic.

I thought is was the radiation. Is that how it works for shamans?

I assumed that all the powers he gained came from the spider. Did one of the comics say the radiation triggered psychic power in him?
As for me, I was born autistic with sensory input that sees/hears/feels more than other people do. Able to interact with spirits, I can do favors for them & get benefits in return.

The spiderman story says that scientists treated a spider with radiation and Peter was bitten by the radioactive spider. I always thought that the spider transfered the power of radiation to Peter. But it makes sense that the radiation only served as a conduit to allow Peter to gain the power of the spider.

My son has autism. I try to get him to interact with humans to get benefits. It doesn't always work.

Humans suck, but what choice do we have but to learn to live with them? I guess we could all move to isolationist cabins in the woods...
