These two are just JERKS. They CLAIM to be REPUBLICANS, but then they are issuing ORDERS **all over the place**.
They couldn't care less about their RESIDENTS--they just want to jump on the bandwagon of Trump's followers in hopes they can become President.
Mask mandates or bans need to be LOCAL. Texas has 8 COUNTIES with LESS THAN 1,000 RESIDENTS. **County-wide** mask bans in THOSE would be entirely appropriate.
But Texas has 254 counties. Harris County (Houston) has 4.8 MILLION residents. The Dallas-Fort Worth area has 6.4 million and there are no "sharp distinctions"--even life-long area residents can't tell where the City of Dallas ends, and Richardson starts, and Addison starts, etc.
In those areas, bans, mandates, etc., need to be done on the County level.
