Unfortunately their president immediately fled the country and their soldiers didn't use the weapons fight against the Taliban for the democracy that we tried to install. But at the very least we can say that we tried to give them a chance.

We trained em for nearly 20 years with our weapons and equipment..... I mean imagine us being like well guys it was cool. We're taking all the sh*t we trained you with back now. Good luck fightin' against the Taliban with rocks and sticks! That would've been kind of a d**k move, no?
