The fungi mentioned, are mostly psilocybin. You should watch it. What amazed me was learning how connected everything is. You should watch it (the full movie) on Netflix called "Fantastic Fungi." Seriously, I was in tears I was so amazed by how marvelous this fungus is but was simply outlawed and labeled as a drug due to friendly fire from the American Government during the civil rights era. There were so many movements going on at the time, and many of them were progressive, "leftist" movements. The movement in favor of mushrooms and their research was put into a box with the others. There was an anti-war movement, anti-government movement, civil rights movement, and others.
It is reflected that we have simply lost forty years of research because it was banned unjustly. Something of the effect that you'd be a "communist" if you took the drug.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
