Up-Voted. It's a sharp meme that raises an interesting issue.

I don't remember any president after G.W. Bush admitting that dealing with an Afghanistan withdrawal would be too much for them as C-in-C. As a matter of fact they all spoke reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal big and confident-like.

Maybe Obama and Trump would have pulled a Biden or maybe they would have pulled off a withdrawal in a smart and efficient manner. We shall never know because as it turned out it WAS the dementia patient that screwed it all the hell up. So it goes.

2003 was the year we should have made our exit.
