As you guys are endorsing the RUP this term, that already gives you quite a status (IG, Wubbzy and PR1CE keep reffering to you), so from my point of view, the only thing stopping you having major party status is the fact that you aren't running in this cycle.

Oh no, we don’t have to decide positions just yet. That can come later. But we do have at least three experienced people to fill the major slots (PREZ/VP/HOC) so that’s great. :)

Sitting out this cycle is best. Support RUP, so we aren’t competing directly with them, and then maybe next time they’ll support us. Assuming RUP wins again — think about next cycle. 4 terms in a row would be a lot, they might step aside willingly and/or voters would probably be looking for a change too.

I meant to say that, yes, sitting out this cycle is the best. Supporting the RUP is a definete 👍 decision, and it allows the N.E.R.D.S. to grow slightly as a party during the next term.
This way, we aren't running head-first into the electoral battlefield.
