I will say that blaming Biden only, which most politics memes seem to be doing, simply because he’s President today and was the last to hold the bag, is reductive.

Both parties own this failure — four Presidents over 20 years own this failure — our allies own this failure — the Afghan people and their own corrupt and incompetent (former) leadership certainly own this failure.

Biden could have orchestrated this a lot better if he knew what he was doing. To paraphrase Gates, biden has been wrong on every foreign policy decision his entire poitical career.
