This chart explains generally how modding works here on Imgflip. All mods (site or stream) *must* uphold Imgflip TOS at a minimum. But the creators and mods of streams *can* choose to be more restrictive if they want.
Basic example: Someone creates a stream for dogs. In order to live up to that name and grow its follower count, the mods of “dogs” would probably do well to exclude memes featuring cats. And that’s fine. After all, there’s another stream just for that. And probably quite a few streams overall that would be happy to feature cat memes.
So, what seems like “censorship” of cat memes in a narrow context actually helps create a website full of interesting content and communities that’s pretty well organized and easy-to-find. Don’t see a stream for your stuff? Make one!
Turning to PRESIDENTS…
Pepe Party is “pro free-speech” and seems to be running on a platform that any and all TOS-compliant content should be allowed here. I haven’t heard them state otherwise. And that’s their prerogative! If the voters choose that, so be it.
However, what Pepe Party *can’t* do is Karenize the existing government into adopting its own policies. That’s an end-run around the election process.
Don’t like a government decision? Make a campaign issue of it! But otherwise it’s for the elected mods to decide.
Otherwise, this stream is just a popularity contest and winning candidates don’t actually get to exercise any control over the direction for the stream to take. Where’s the fun in that?
