Well, yeah I guess it’s good for the troops, but it is terrible for the people in Afghanistan.

It’s up to Afghans to run their own country, ultimately. 20 years of war is a long time. Longer than we’ve been in any other war. Over a trillion dollars down the drain.

The way the collapse happened in a week, seems they sadly weren’t up to the task. Or, more darkly, many of them actually *want* Taliban-style government.
