Again, the President of the US DOES NOT set the laws in any individual state, nor for the whole country. He has the option to veto laws passed by the majority of the two houses of Congress, but that's a power most Presidents exercise sparingly.

And, to YOU: What's with the name-calling? Do you feel inadequate?

Hmm, so i looked online. Looks like you were right, sorry for the name calling. But what I was trying to say is that this law in california so "poor" black people could afford things. But then Biden raised Taxes and gas at the same time, thats what i was trying to say.

I appreciate the concession :) and, yes, the plan that passed the Senate that Biden is supporting will raise taxes on the superrich . . . but my family, like most American families, will actually get a tax break.
