When someone flags a comment, it is made available to the Stream Mods of that stream, as well as Community and Global Mods for all comment flags sitewide. Community and Global Mods can perform these moderations because some Stream Mods either aren’t able to or don’t take the proper action required to remove content that violates TOS. Sitewide Mods aren’t really aware of what rules each stream has, so we can’t really make a determination whether a comment violates stream rules or not unless it’s a stream we moderate. Currently the best thing you can do to prevent Sitewide Mods from making a bad call regarding stream rules is to be very proactive in running your stream. Streams like MSMG and EAM are very good at this due to the number of active mods they have, I rarely ever have to act on a comment flag from either stream, despite plenty of comment flags being issued on both streams.
