Current US Code addresses air travel specifically. In 49 U.S.C. § 40103, "Sovereignty and use of airspace", the Code specifies that "A citizen of the United States has a public right of transit through the navigable airspace."

Yes, but unless you have a pilots license and your own plane or can afford to charter a private flight you kind of have to depend upon the commercial airlines.

Yeah, how're are they going to do that, set up check points on the interstates, back up traffic for miles?

I've actually seen that done, however. Going into California from Arizona (on both I-8 & I-10) the state Department of Agriculture has a checkpoint asking if you're bringing any fruits or vegetables into the state.

So, if they can do it for agriculture they can do it for the vaccine, I suppose.

If I was taking a road trip and didn't want the government all up in my business, I would find a way to slip over the state lines on the two lane country roads.

I agree, and as I think more about my previous post, I can see a major difference in my analogy between the agriculture checkpoint and a vaccine checkpoint.

In the example of the agriculture checkpoint, if you did have fruits or vegetables from out of state you would just leave them at the checkpoint or they might inspect them for pests, etc., and then you're on your way.

In the case of a vaccine checkpoint they're going to deny you entry to the state, hence your comment, unconstitutional.

I think it's a clear violation of the 14th amendment

Not pro Democrat but this is an emergency. It's right to limit travel until the situation improves.

Seriously who will be the judge of when "the situation improves"? When the state governments say it's safe? When Fauci says it's safe? When Biden says it's safe?

You're sacrificing your God given free will! Have you no independent thought? Apply some critical thinking. If you're so scared that you can't go out then stay home. If you want to wear a mask, wear a mask. Want to get vaccinated? Fine, do it, but don't think that you can clamp down everyone else. We can't shut our economy down two years in a row.

Not pro democrat, but I think you should wait till the daily new cases drops to a thousand.
