My question would be regarding the location of centaur genitalia.....for scientific reasons, of course.

A female centaurs genitalia would need to be in the horse location—there's no way that the human portion could properly gestate and birth a centaur (assuming that the size of the centaur's horse portion is the same size as a regular horse). Presumably the male genitalia would be corresponding to the female's, so it would be with the horse. One of the many strange things about female centaurs is that they have breasts located on the human portion. This doesn't make sense because a baby centaur wouldn't be tall enough to suckle from breasts that high on the body. I think that both the breasts and genitalia should be connected to the horse, although ancient artwork depicts horse genitalia and human breasts.

I was actually laying awake last night thinking about this very thing. How do female Centaurs reproduce and nurse? I'm guessing a Romulus and Remus type scenario she would have teats on her horse underbelly and the boobs would be more for decoration. Lol.

You jave to consider the purpose of pants which is to keep legs warm and cover the privates so only A & D would qualify but then you gotta consider the practicality of the zipper placement for ease of access for the bathroom and such. Also in some of the examples where would he keep his wallet and phone without pockets? I am really concerned for all centaurs having to get dressed every morning!

I would think anything covered in fur doesn't need clothes... So, I don't think a centaur would wear any pants. Perhaps a shirt but fantasy seems to be reluctant on that as well.

Absolutely. I mean, in all seriousness, if they would be wearing clothes against the cold it would probably be a big blanket that keeps the legs warm just by trapping warm air under it. Actual pants would probably not be flexible enough for four-legged walking, let alone running. And the "human" torso would just wear human clothes - shirt, sweater, coat... I kinda want to see it now. For some reason centaurs are usually depicted in fairly warm climates.. 🤔

Yea, you're probably right horse garb for the horse half and human garb for the human half. You sound like you've given this some thought. If I ever have a question about the traditional clothing of mythical creatures I know who to ask 😁

Any time. 😁 Just because they're mythical creatures doesn't mean you can't think about it. And centaurs are fairly straight forward since we already know what horses and people wear.

The more interesting question is where it would make sense to put pockets so the human arms can reach them easily. The horse's back is rather impractical in that regard and would only be useful for carrying things over longer distances - like what we might put into a backpack. Anything a centaur would need quick access to would probably go into something like belt satchels that they wear around the human waist/horse neck.

That's what makes this such a difficult case to solve. The pockets would have to be practical as well as the zipper. Also for something like D I can't imagine them being able to put something like that on without help. I guess it's just better to go pantless, your blanket idea might be the ticket.
