Years ago, white liberals started giving participation trophies for everything to everyone: so no one's feelings would be hurt. Aw. Now, it has evolved into the governor of Oregon signing a bill removing reading, writing and math proficiency tests from graduation —presumably so people of color (who they assume are incapable of learning such) might not be hindered from graduating from their so-called "educational" institutions. Besides dumbing down educational systems of their state for all, they have hurt the most vulnerable: those who can't afford a good education by private means. Civilization has learned that speaking in a cultural vernacular, not being able to read, write or compute numbers will not help humans as they grow into the workforce. That is what my meme with the man using his trophy as a beggars cup represents. YOU said, "Ya'll scramble a 'winner' so much that you purposely hinder others so they can lose your squalid game and make you feel better". I interpreted that as judgmental on your part. So, by the Frank Zappa quote I was asking you to keep an open mind. By your "squalid game" insult I put the Mark Twain quote. Sarcastic? Perhaps to you. As a older gentleman and a former teacher, I was really trying to open your mind and not be negative. I am very busy, but I took the time for you. May God bless you on your journey. Hafta run. Sincerely, Vince Vance
