As I understand it, Rittenhouse was acquitted on the charges brought for actually shooting his weapon, because it was self defense, but still faces charges for having a weapon there in the first place.

It's been a day or sixty since he was mentioned here though.

Some say it was self defense, some say he went there to kill. The real tragedy here is that Kyle didn't actually have any personal problems with the people he killed. They were not actually enemies. This is what happens when people are brainwashed. Either way, it was far from heroic.

The tragic comment is brainwashed and armed. If he'd just been one or the other, it'd have been sad but not tragic.
