The New Republic had 40 years to make The Galaxy a better place. In 4 decades The Galaxy had returned to a democratic plutocracy with the same old corrupt and incompetent structure as the old one. Education, healthcare and overall supply chains ensuring the galaxy had enough jobs and resources to house, feed and protect The Empire whilst keeping criminal gangs such as the Hutt's in check, providing fair and equal justice, order and stability to the citizens of The Galaxy from the core worlds to the outer rim.
Since The Empire's destruction, crime, lawlessness and destruction has been the norm. Bounty hunters and crime families have citizens living in fear. people starving and out of work whilst the New Republic in their wisdom sits in their ivory towers, ignorant of the suffering of the innocent lives in the Galaxy.
The First Order is the only legitimate hope for The Galaxy to withstand the Yuuzhan Vong and remain orderly and safe.
