Don’t you have longer winter, spring, and fall breaks in China? In America there is 1 week for spring and fall, and two weeks for winter. That’s why summer break is so long.

Because we have no spring and fall breaks. We have a 3 week winter and a 2 month summer.

So we deal with burnout in June and early January.

China: *laughs in 1.4 billion people*
There are too many people in China, this is the only way to fairly use resources. We are technically lab rats because the government keeps experimenting with us. One experiment crammed everything into 10 years instead of 12 years which is already crammed enough.
Extremely high population density and people fighting to get into good universities because here, the only way to not be practically homeless is to get into Tsinghua or Peking.

And a few other good uni's that I have no space to mention here.
You think the government WANTS this to happen? Of course not! This is the only way. The best high school in the Hebei region, Heng-Shui School, meets the definition for a max-security prison.
