I have to respectfully disagree. We are both adamant about our beliefs, and that is okay. I find that there is no single action that can save a soul and send them on to heaven, unless, of course, you count the sacrament of reconciliation. I know that, since you are Lutheran, you live by "Sola fide", only faith. That is just and logical. So, I understand the point that you are coming from- however, i feel, as a 2VC Catholic, that sacrament is good and can heal a soul. I believe baptism cleanses original sin, and that with that, a human is made pure in the sense Adam was created pure. It is a new creation. My core beliefs state that actions are and will be enough to get someone into heaven- faith is very important in the process, but not the only way. I think truly just atheists and other non-Christian individuals will see heaven, so long as they do not attack and undermine the Catholic church, or any of its brothers and sisters in Christianity. Since the Reformation, religion has been something of a game of preference, and I find my life is better when I know that doing the right thing can move me towards salvation. I know that, even though you are not of my faith, although historically my people are more likely to disembowel you than to make friends with you, you are probably greatly kind and charitable. I do not doubt you are one of the most caring people here on Imgflip. You are very likely the kind of wonderful, faithful being that God would delight in having in His home.
