For the thousandth time, attacking cops, burning any building, stealing anything etc, is always wrong. When you do so after leaving a rally run by the President and in what you call support for his lie that the election was stolen from him, it is the worst example. These people tried to subvert our Constitution by getting an important process cancelled. As far as I can tell nobody in Portland or Seattle was counting the Electoral College votes on any day that anyone there broke the law.
