There's truth to that but often enough it's us in the middle that are calling both sides idiots.
Usually, the right points left and the left points right while screaming the other side is a bunch of idiots... while completely ignoring the foibles and failings of those on their own side. While the left currently seems to be fostering the most idiots at the moment, there is -- as your meme mockingly states -- blame to go around. Both sides should fix themselves... or join us in the middle.
