Were you born in it or later converted?

I was a practicing catholic up until about 10 years ago. The new pope turned me off of the religion. Are you a practicing Catholic?

I grew up as a Catholic, but ended up as an Evangelical. The two biggest reason for my departure is the notion of salvation which you can see from my own stream, so named and the notion of Sola Scriptura.

So you are no longer a Catholic; are you now an Atheist or an Agnostic?

No, I believe in God. I pray with my wife at home and we get more out of it.

Oh I see. So, what religion are you in now? Or what denomination?

We just are Christians now, no denomination. We read the bible and talk about it. We tried other churches but they did not fit us either.

Do you believe as I do in how we're saved, aside from believing in the Trinity?

We believe we are flawed and we try to always do the right thing instead of asking for forgiveness if you choose to do something wrong.

I see. Do you believe that salvation must be earned?

Would you say you believe what the Catholic church believes in regarding things unrelated to Pope Francis? For as long as I have known Francis to be pope, i've thought him upstanding until recently. There's something off about his actuons.

It's a communion set for priests to bring Holy Communion to a home, usually for sick or indisposed people. It looks vintage.

I think so too. We had something like this in our grandma's house when I was a kid. This have really changed so much.
