Yep . . . it was in fact the typical and endlessly repeated political cycle of "Thanks for voting us leftist scammers into political office, and now piss off you useless peasants until the next voting cycle whereupon we will collectively rediscover your existence and your needs." Fortunately for leftist politcians it's as if the poor cannot catch on to how they are endlessly being played; no matter how often the Left does it to them.
