You might wonder about the purple words which clearly is in contrast to what we know as hateful Christians, i.e.: Westboro Baptists. However, this is meant to address the very opposite extreme, and that is this: Christians are too "Loving" to talk about sin when sharing the Gospel.
We would also rob the Gospel of its magnificence and God the honor the glory He deserves.
For believers not to speak of sin would actually be the most unloving thing, for if we do not do that then the unbelieving will not truly see their need for the Savior let alone, their Lord.
God is loving, we all know that, but He is also just and holy and so He cannot allow sin to be unpunished for long (Exodus 34:6-7). He will one day punish all; He will not look at their good works but only the sins they've committed (Isaiah 64:6). God requires moral perfection, so anyone falling short of it will be damned (Matthew 5:20 & Romans 2:6-7).
That what makes the cross so wonderful that though He cannot set aside His standards or His justice (Proverbs 17:15), He also loves us and made a way for us to be saved by sending His son to die for us on the cross (Romans 5:8 & John 3:16) and in three days rose again from the dead (John 20).
All this to accomplish our salvation.
They must know how undeserving they are so that they can truly repent and love God as they should (Luke 7:47). They must know so that they can repent unto salvation and believe so that they will be saved (Mark 1:15 & Romans 10:9-10).
