I know, I post things to be funny very often. I’m just saying it’s not good for convincing people.

It’d be far better. A capitalist system is meant for everyone to have an opportunity to succeed. This idea that some people can’t succeed because they are oppressed is straight out of Marxism, and is what will happen if Marxists take over.

By the way, I did not always hold this opinion. For a long time I believed that the two parties kinda balanced each other out, just as emotions and reality do. However, I’ve since learned that Marxists are just like the devil. Just as the devil will take you over completely if you allow him to have a tiny portion of your heart, Marxists will overtake your country completely if you allow them inside your country. This wouldn’t work if people were more educated, but sadly we live in a society that doesn’t really care for information. With that said, I don’t believe Marxists should all be incarcerated or persecuted (and I’m sure they do believe that for us).

The world would be better off with less government and more freedom. Back when bush was expanding military power and patriot acting everyone I leaned liberal, now that democrats are infiltrated with leftists into consolidating power, crushing free speech and infringing on the second amendment, I lean conservative. As far as economics, yeah, capitalism 100%

Not any whom I've ever met, but even if they do, biggest threat first. If a republican leader in power promises to criminalize gay marriage, repeal 19th & 14th amendment or force some christian version of sharia law then i'm sure ill lean liberal again. I highly doubt any of that will happen though. Freedom is only freedom if it applies to all.

I’m not sure I agree with that idea, although I’d have to hear his point and see where he’s coming from. If he’s just whining about lockdowns in general because he feels trapped, that would be illegitimate. However, if he’s pointing out that all these illegal immigrants being taken in here (well, let me correct that to “illegal immigrants only taken in if they’ll vote for Democrats”) are not being required to follow protocols that we Americans have to follow if we “want to protect people from dying”, he may have a stronger point. Democrat politicians are routinely busted not wearing masks. This all suggests that Democrats saying that they care about people’s health is bullcrap. And if they really cared, they wouldn’t have shut down that black lady that claimed to find a cure for it a year ago, simply based on her character.
Matter of fact, Democrats never really care about anyone they claim to care about.

The other thing I’d want to know is if he’s in California, because I have heard that a few churches have been harassed there for worshipping together. If Covid is being used as a tool to cancel religious practices, there’s another instance where something might be similar to Marxism.
With all that said, I’m still not sure I agree with the Marxist label though in this instance. I’d have to hear what he was talking about. Also, what radio was that?

I'm sure he is using the term marxism to refer to the power the government has to shut down or otherwise interfere with the means of production which a government would not have under a capitalist system. marxism in this context simply acts as an umbrella term for marx's ideas of communism, socialism, materialism, social class, etc... Generally the term "classical Marxism is used to describe the economic theory and distinguish it from simply "what mark believed".

Indeed people latch onto negative terms (communist, nazi, racist, sexist, etc...) and shout them until they lose all meaning. It's generally not worth defending proper word usage and more efficient to simply continue the conversation as though they had used the correct word. remember that language is fluid and if a majority of the populace uses a word in a particular way, even if it's the wrong way, that becomes an acceptable usage.

Of course we control language, but language is nothing more than mutual agreement. If the majority of people agree to a usage for a word, then fighting against the tide is pointless. Arguing semantics never benefited a conversation.
