For me it depends on the situation. If it's superstraight as in straight with genital preferences, that's cool, I get it, but other times it can be people who are like 'trans women aren't real women' and 'trans men aren't real men', which is toxic.

I understand that. But the fact that its called "super" straight makes it sound like if a person is cis and you date them, you are straighter than you would've been if you had dated a trans person.

ok, something needs to be said here. There is a difference between preferences and excluding. If you prefer a certain race/ you find a certain race more attractive, that is a preference. If you say you would never date a person of certain race because they are that race, that is exclusion and racist. The same goes here. If you have a preference to not date a trans person, that is 100% ok!! But “super straight” is excluding trans people, and therefore is transphobic.

Why is it okay for any other Sexuality to prefer a gender, but it isn't okay for someone to prefer cis/trans?

Heres the thing, I'm going put the fact that the superstraight thing started all as a joke, because the guy who invented meant it as a joke but I'm going to put that aside. Theres a difference for preference and attraction. I like male and female, but I prefer female. So I dont count as a lesbian. Really the sexuality isnt transphobic itself because it's all a preference but then again, why are we parting the same gender apart? I dont get what difference a trans person and a cis person. are in gender term, it's the same gender. That's why it's a preference because either they dont want a sexual relationship with a trans person because of private preference or they dont think a trans person counts as that gender. How would a superstraight react to someone who both medically and socially transitioned. If someone doesnt want to date a trans person that's fine but I think its unnecessary to make a sexuality out of it. Yeesh that was long. I'd be surprised if you actually read this to the end.
