In all honesty, I say if you want to see a hero, go to a firestation. Doctors put people into debt for life if/when they save their lives, police extort and abuse their power, along with the other elements of the 'justice system', and soldiers follow the orders of sociopathic coddled, sheltered pencil-pushers. Of all of them, the only one you can be 100% happy to see at any given time is a fireman - Violence, ruining your life, and debt is not part of their training. I'm not saying I have no respect for the others, but firemen are about the only remaining pure modern heroes, sadly...
