That looks quite good. I especially love the roof. One thing I suggest is to cover up the flat walls. Try adding something to make it less flat.

I need to add more depth but whenever I try it ends up looking too thick

but I would use spruce instead of cobblestone for the roof

mix cobblestone, stone, stone bricks, and mossy stone for texturing on the walls

it looks like the house in the camp in mcd

but its made of oak but in mcd its made spruce

This looks like a industrial style home so maybe put a forge or a storege room or possibly even a factory in the mountain

I’m not to good of a builder but maybe try adding some slabs in a row a block above the door

Putting a front yard with a garden in the exterior will make it beatiful

trapdoors and fences make everything better
try having the cobblestone part of the roof stick in front of the wood.

shorten the front overhang by 1 block, and add trapdoors next to the windows on the sides.

Put a dragon head over the door.

I'm a builder it's quite good. Too many windows but very good roofing. I like the pillars and depth can be done with different variations of the blocks. Eg. Cobblestone-->mossy cobblestone

Remove the middle window if you act on the windows

your builds are better than mine

Maybe put torches on the blocks next to the top of the door, for lighting and style
