I see your skew on the truth.
The difference is, is that with the meme, it states how that these things don't matter to people, and yet, they make sure to have what does not matter in large quantities, like money. Or, how people who spend hours and hours for their makeup or hair every year say "Looks don't matter." The meme talks about how they're lying to themselves.
Those who do without have learned to without and lead fuller lives.
That said, in regards to your comment, psychology makes exception to the rule as men who fail to acknowledge or deal with their emotions are far more likely to be abusive in some capacity or are likely to become socio paths and are unable to maintain some relationships due to their lack of ability to communicate with themselves or others as they fail to address the root of their problems. Of course, this isn't true for all.
So, cool comment, it gave me a laugh in its absurdity.
