a flu shot isin't supposed to make you immune immediately you only get a flu shot to make your chances of getting it lower, same for covid, the cdc said that you can still get covid after the shot yes, i will admit to that but at least it makes the chances lower to get it in general. (just stating that usually you only get covid either close to after the shot maybe within 2 weeks it takes some time for the shot to fully get in your immune system.)
