TW: suicide

Here is my argument. And as a former Christian, I know a few things and will use both an atheists and Christians standpoint. It will fluctuate:

There is a huge difference between gender and sex.
Sex is male or female (or intersex. Intersex is a MUTATION in the DNA that causes a person to have physical, emotional, and mental traits of both sexes. It is caused by there being an extra chromosome. Such as XXY. Or XXXXXXY is even possible. It affects 1/100 people.) Gender is more wide and varied. Gender is what is supposed to give a person a sense of their identity and a taste of comfort.
By saying that there are only two genders, you are damaging a person's mental health. You are putting one person closer to suicide.
Why is one person saying that they are a gender other than man/woman affect you so much?

And about binary transgenders.
Why is that such a problem for you?
Some of us are born uncomfortable in our skin and we feel the need to "transition", AKA sex reassignment surgery, in order to have our gender align with our sex.
The person who fathered you didn't get to choose whether he gave an X or Y. And you dont get to choose your gender either. It may take years to find it, but you were always that gender.
Imagine if you had been born in the opposite sex. How would you feel? Would you seriously just carry on, not feel weird or uncomfortable about your body? Or would you actually be happy as that sex?

God loves everyone, right? God made a woman out of a man. A definition of a transwoman. The definition of a WOMAN. It doesn't matter if she was born male or female. She is still a WOMAN.
Plus, Christians believe we are souls but into vessels, aka our bodies. What if our soul was put into the wrong body? Isn't that why we dye our hair, shave, pierce our bodies etc.?
And if God makes our bodies "perfect", then why do we use glasses and contacts? Use artificial arms or legs? Etc.

And for nombinary, God wants us to be happy. And in order to that, we have to take this idea of... "gender"... and put it to our own comfort.
God created sex. And with that, God created intersex. But we, people, created gender and its caused us to lose so many lives... lives of people who just wanted to be happy but someone didn't want to use a WORD or a NAME to make them happy.

Other animals don't have gender dysphoria because gender doesn't exist within their mind. They don't care about sex because it's just chromosomes and whatever parts they got from it.

Other animals don't express transphobia or homophobia... because they don't care about that at all.

And that's how we should be.

Heck, your dog is probably agender and you don't know it and continue to use she/her pronouns and some fancy fem name like Bella. But your dog doesn't care because gender is just a stupid idea humans made up.

Animals do not think in comparison to the various ways in which humans think. Comparing human culture to animals does not work as it is apples to oranges. Better to take the Cultural Anthropology route and compare cultures of roughly the same development level to others of the same and then take note of not only their similarities regarding certain issues but their differences . . . and then try to figure out WHY those differences exist . . . usually it turns out to be something prosaic about trade routes, local enemies, terrain, water sources, and so forth and so on. Very practical and very down to earth reasons for those differences.

That doesn't answer my questions.

Why shouldn’t somebody say that they are a gender other than man/ woman? The simple answer is because it is a lie. It’s never a good idea to lie to somebody, and if it’s a mental health issue then it’s still not a good idea to go along with their lies the same way we shouldn’t give in and pretend to agree with schizophrenics. Also, there isn’t any credible evidence that going along with it will help their mental health state at all. In the case of gender dysphoria, not only do most with the condition see it resolved in time, but among those who decide to become transgender the suicide rates go basically unchanged.

1. There is no evidence that it is a lie to say youare nombinary? I am proof that nonbinary exists. Neither man or woman describes my gender.

2. The suicide rates do go down. And you dont choose to be transgender. Also, gender dysphoria that caused suicide even after transition is still there for some people because of people like you, who are refusing to accept them.

Obviously that’s false, God made the woman from a part of man’s flesh to symbolize them becoming one in marriage. It also says he created them man and woman period.

And if God makes our bodies "perfect", then why do we use glasses and contacts? Use artificial arms or legs? Etc. The first two humans were perfect but they sinned and thus became imperfect, this is basic Bible knowledge you should really know being a former christian.
