That's both bad and good. Even though I am a conservative, I think that political ideology should take second place to sound legal judgement -- which is conservative philosophy in and of itself. As long as their decisions are based on HONEST and common sense interpretation of what the Constitution means . . . then I have little argument with them as judges.

I read this as they are letting the potential optics of a decision sway them. Which is very bad.

How's that been working out for Roberts?
