I'm barely following. OP suggests that students are willing and interested in being brain washed? I tend to agree only because, as you say teachings are so pre-soldudout, the students already gave up.

Oh I think I get it. If a professor had brainwashing powers then they would be motivated to do their job and follow the syllabus. That's got to be the most bass awkward thought I have heard in my entire life. As if all the lazy profs are counterculture heroes by not doing their job. Lmao and I am in many ways very liberal. Who knows though: the world is a crazy place so...

No, many professors, I dare say most, are solid folks who legitimately earn their pay. They certainly all want to impart some sort of knowledge to their pupils. It's just that many exist who try to incorporate a narrative into that knowledge, when that should be something the student is given impartially and left to form their own conclusions.

I'm just saying the good that we call impartiallity map be embodied as sitting down on the job. Or that is how the meme makes me think of things. Go internet!
