FNAF 4 is in the head of a dying child, presumably Michael Afton (unless I'm wrong), so the FNAF 4 Nightmare animatronics are real in lore, much like FNAF: The Twisted Ones, which feature Twisted, more violent versions of Freddy, Bonnie and Foxy.
